La Malfa Center • 5783 Heisley Rd. Mentor, OH
Come hear one of the financial industry's best storytellers. This is a night not to miss!
Don will discuss more than fifty cataclysmic events beginning with the Korean War and ending with today’s issues of cyber-hacking. In all fifty-plus cases, the refrain was clear. “This time it’s different.” The reality is that it’s never different. For more than two centuries, American markets have fallen, rebounded and gone on to set new highs. To understand where we are going, it’s important to understand where we have been. You are invited to this fun, informative presentation!
* The Dow Jones Industrial Average has grown from less than 200 in 1950 to over 28,000 today, despite multiple catastrophic events that caused the media to announce, “This time it’s different.” As look forward, we continue to hear this refrain.
