Dan McGinnis is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and is actively engaged as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
He is a financial advisor who works closely with families and small businesses to help develop creative solutions based on their objectives and vision. He also helps oversee employer-sponsored retirement plans for businesses and nonprofits. His mission is to provide every client with targeted and personalized financial advice.
Before joining the Carver team, Dan worked as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors, where assisted with the settlement of a complex estates and guided clients to make sound investment decisions.
Dan provides clients with the appropriate standard of care by staying current in the financial planning field through rigorous continuing education required for his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Additionally, he maintains a Series 7, a Series 66 and an Ohio Life and Health Insurance license.
Away from the office, you’ll find Dan volunteering in the local community at various nonprofit organizations and spending time with family and friends. Dan is a lifelong Clevelander and grew up in Lakewood where he developed a love for the city’s professional sports teams. He attended St. Ignatius High School and graduated from Kent State University with a business degree in finance and economics. Dan and his wife Suzanne reside in Cleveland with their children Carmen, Channing and Adelaide. They live a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoy traveling and new adventures.
