While we have been enjoying a more mild winter a lot has been taking place around Carver Financial Services. In mid-January one of our Client Concierges, Tracy Goldhardt, visited the Raymond James home office in St. Petersburg, Florida. She brought back some new ideas and received some beneficial training to better assist our clients.

On January 14th we had over 50 clients and friends attend the Eaton Party at Kirtland Country Club. On January 21st we hosted a party for Avery employees at Kirtland Country Club and 27 people were in attendance. And finally, on February 10th, snow storm and all, we had 27 attendees at the Combined Company Party hosted at the Mentor Harbor Yacht Club. It was great to see so many old friends reconnect and to be a part of the stories and laughter shared. We are excited to wrap the company parties up with Lubrizol employees on March 3, 2016. If you are an employee or retiree of Lubrizol and have not yet registered for this event, please call the office today at 440-974-0808 and reserve your place.
The next major event we are excited to bring to you is the Quality of Your Life seminar. The presentation will be given by guest speaker John Diehl. This event will be one you will not want to miss; you will learn how to predict how rich and satisfying your future years will be. We are offering a noon luncheon as well as a 7:00 PM evening dessert buffet. Both times will be held at the LaMalfa Center 5783 Heisley Rd. Mentor, Ohio 44060. Again, you can call the office to have us hold a place for you, 440-974-0808.
We want to say congratulations to Mark Spoerke on earning the accreditation of Certified Financial Planner™. We follow the belief that it is important to be lifelong learners and are very proud of Mark earning this additional certification after many months of studying. Way to go Mark!
Lastly, we tallied up the collections from our Operations Breakfast and are very happy to share that our sponsored charity, PAWS, received a check this month from Carver Cares foundation of $2,390. PAWS is a Northeastern Ohio based mission that rescues stray and abused cats and dogs and places them in good homes with loving, caring owners. We are proud to be a part of helping them to continue this important work and thank you for joining the efforts with us.
